  13. I have a Hayes 1200B in a PC XT.  Using Crosstalk, I can dialout.
  14. The other modem answers.  I hear a tone.  I hear the pitch change.
  15. But then the modem keeps humming.  There's no "static" and no
  16. connection.  This happens every time.  Any ideas?
