- Yes and no. No, because the standard isn't even DRAFTED yet, much
- less adopted. CCITT is still at the stage of collecting proposals
- on what the modulation scheme and other characteristics of the modem
- should be. But "Yes", because some of the companies that are MAKING
- those proposals have started to ship modems which include their
- proposals. These are NOT standard "V.fast" modems, but generally
- are V.32bis modems which have proprietary, non-standard,
- higher-speed modes.
