  12. I have a question on the "lean mean" AAL5 adaption layer:

  14. Does this definition cover only the begin and end of message 
  15. indication, leaving the byte count and checksum to be handled
  16. by the application specific upper layer?

  18. For instance, let's say I am collecting arbitrary uncompressed audio 
  19. from a continous source. With this application, I really have no checksum 
  20. requirement, no message boundaries, just collect bytes.

  22. Is this the bare bones adaption layer?
