  11.     If I write an archiving program where could I go to
  12. get a PD compression code? (or algorithym?) And what are the
  13. legal problems I might incurr? And since these are probably in
  14. a faq somewhere, where is it?
  15.     What and where are some good free compression routines?
  16. I would be archiving a broad array of file types, so routines 
  17. designed around a specific file type are of little to no use 
  18. to me.
