- I do not think a single file of any type is an appropriate measure.

- For an internal study I used a set of about 40 files to test compression ratios
- of a few compression routines. This mix included graphics, text, CAD,
- Word, executables, & images. You really need to determine what target
- you are aiming at before developing a test suite of files.

- BTW, on my mix, the best was about 15:1, the worst about 1.1:1, and an average
- of about 3:1.
