  10. I've looked on wuarchive, on garbo, and in the FAQ's and
  11. I cannot find any information on the Message Digest Algorithm.

  13. I remember getting a lead from this group several months back,
  14. and subsequently uploaded a compression/encryption program,
  15. with source, that included MD4, the message digest algorithm.
  16.  
  17. This algorithm takes an arbitrary string and encodes it as
  18. a unique 8-Byte signature.
  19.  
  20. I need this now, and I cannot find it in my archives, in
  21. the Internet archvies, or anywhere else.

  23. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
