- Because most (okay, all) external program for WWIV are currently not multi
- user compatible, locking is performed on chains (externals, doors) so that
- only one node has access to a chain at a time. Once a user enters a chain,
- that chain becomes unavailable to other nodes until they leave the chain.
- I have the name of the chain shown in parenthesis to indicate it is not
- available at the moment if the user lists the chains.
