  44. pathchk is a POSIX invention for checking pathname portability.

  46. Major changes in release 1.7:
  47. * add su, who, true, false commands
  48. * add more tests to expr
  49. * fix printf program handling of \ escapes
  50. * printf can re-use format string for multiple groups of arguments
  51. * printf catches numeric conversion errors with an ANSI C library
  52. * stty nl and -nl were backwards
  53. * date can format an arbitrary date without setting it
