  19. After some work, I have converted the develop.doc file which accompanies
  20. the EMX distribution into a Texinfo document; that's right, one document
  21. which produces a nice TeX formatted manual AND .info files for use with
  22. Emacs.

  24. Now for the bad news: The C Library documentation is still sketchy (that
  25. part, while prettier to look at, was lifted whole-cloth from the
  26. develop.doc), the info files require the newest version of Makeinfo (Emacs
  27. cannot compile them internally; I followed the v2 documentation and some of
  28. the features are not yet supported) and you need a very current version of
  29. texinfo.tex (2.991 works and comes with the Makeinfo port for OS/2).

  39. If there are any problems, corrections, or additions you would like to
  40. volunteer, I am more than happy to accept them; my next goal in the
  41. documentation is a tutorial on PM programming with EMX and some interest
  42. has been expressed in filling in the gaps in the C Library documentation
  43. (and then there is the PM API docs :->), but the school year has begun
  44. again, so progress may be a little slow.
