  23. dvips549.zip   Rokicki's dvips 5.490, see also Sinha's 2.0 port

  25. These were compiled with MSC 6.00A, and will run under OS/2 1.3 and
  26. 2.0.  dvips is a bound executable (so will also run under MSDOS); 
  27. separate bound executables are included for flip and dvidvi.  
  28. Programs were not tested under OS/2 1.1--1.2, but probably will work
  29. under 1.2.

  32. Notes:
  33. 1. I do not completely understand why Dhesi used the
  34. findfirst/findnext calls, as they require somewhat fancy coding due
  35. to the nature of flip. I used setargv.obj to provide globbing and
  36. long filenames. Comments welcomed.

  39. 2. dvidvi from labrea definitely has problems. It says it is ready for
  40. MSC 6, but see my README.OS2 file. In addition, one of the '#ifdef
  41. SHORTINT' has the cases incorrect. Redirection should now work.

  50. 3. dvips549 was created from the nice OS/2 2.0 port by Gyan P. Sinha
  51. (gyan@unixg.ubc.ca) posted to ftp-os2.nmsu.edu in pub/os2/2.0/emtex/.
  52. Sinha's file should also be obtained, as my archive includes only the
  53. makefile, link def's, and executables. It should be noted that I am a
  54. dvips neophyte.
