- Howard Gitlow wrote a book in 1982 called Stat City where he constructed
- a hypothetical population of households in Stat City. The population
- consisted of about 1300 households.
- In the appendix, he gave a listing of all the variables
- for the households and a 'city' map. This would seem to be an
- ideal teaching tool for sampling. Does anyone know if a machine
- readable version is available. Are there any other similar
- datasets available? The book does not appear to be in print in 1992.
-
- Thanks.
