  14. We recently found that TAPE export files sent from MVS sites using
  15. SAS 6.06 cannot be read into SAS 6.07 TS301 running on VM/CMS.  The
  16. error message is: Invalid or missing READ passord on member foo.bah.data.
  17. SI is aware and has internal usage note: V6-SYS.SASIO.4691.

  19. The bug is SAS 6.07 on CMS not sas 6.06 on MVS.  The workaround is to read
  20. the data from tape using SAS 6.06 then read the disk datasets with sas 6.07.
