- We went to a session manager and a menu system several years ago and took
- this opportunity to implement sign ons for every application. Sign on is
- a wonderfull thing which auditors and security people love. I am not
- either but also agree with sign on for everyone.
-
- I suggest that you do some benchmarks on tcp/ip. We did not implement the
- first release of tcp/ip because of the cpu use. We implemented the second
- release of tcp/ip but the cpu use is measurable. We will also carefully
- benchmark the next release of tcp/ip we install.
