- The Motif licensing confusion aside (I think we are pretty clear on that issue
- by now), Todd, if you have described your application for this new VAX 4000 to
- your DEC sales rep. accurately, then you *may* have a legitimate *beef* with
- your local DEC sales office. DEC sales rep. should be aware of the fact that
- they should offer a Motif license for non-workstation systems which will run
- DECwindows application. If you bring it up with your local DEC sales office,
- chances are that they cannot do anything for you but to sell you a DECwindows
- Motif license to properly make you legal to run DECwindows Motif but this will
- bring the problem to their attention so that future problems can be avoided.
