  25. The Motif licensing confusion aside (I think we are pretty clear on that issue
  26. by now), Todd, if you have described your application for this new VAX 4000 to
  27. your DEC sales rep. accurately, then you *may* have a legitimate *beef* with
  28. your local DEC sales office. DEC sales rep. should be aware of the fact that
  29. they should offer a Motif license for non-workstation systems which will run
  30. DECwindows application. If you bring it up with your local DEC sales office,
  31. chances are that they cannot do anything for you but to sell you a DECwindows
  32. Motif license to properly make you legal to run DECwindows Motif but this will
  33. bring the problem to their attention so that future problems can be avoided.
