  14. Since the OSF Motif license currently ships with VAXstation and DECstation
  15. packaged systems, and the license is royalty, it's important that I know
  16. precisely when DEC started including the Motif license in this manner.

  18. As I understand it, this bundling took place with VMS V5.5 and
  19. Ultrix V4.2C.  Am I correct?  Would anyone happen to have dates when
  20. this occurred?  It's particularly important in the case of Ultrix,
  21. since most all my VMS/ESL customers received the motif license grant last year,
  22. whereas no such grant was extended for Ultrix and many of my DECstation
  23. customers will have to purchase the UWS license under the EMB.
