  14. I am responding to the questions that have risen with regard to support
  15. (telephone and Right-to-new-version) for DECwindows Motif.

  18. The way SSS (Software Support Service) is designed for VMS (UPI 001), support
  19. for DECwindows MOTIF is included as it is one of the kernel software products
  20. (kernel products include VMS, DECnet, DECwindows Motif, VAXcluster and
  21. Workstation).  Therefore, the new ESL will include support for DECwindows
  22. Motif - this support will include telephone support and RTNV through the
  23. designated CSC contacts.

  25. Updates are always purchased separately - if Motif is not on the CONDIST, then
  26. you will have to purchase MDDS.

  28. However, the way DECwindows Motif is supported does not effect how it is
  29. licensed.
