- I've had it with email surverys, no matter how noble the cause.

- Many of us subscribe to lists & newsgroups for the purpose of fast
- feedback and active discussion. When the surveys *about* the list
- content start to take up a significant percentage of the list itself,
- then there should be no surprise when people start getting annoyed.

- Ideally, it might be nice if there were a place (a different list) for
- inquiries like the surveys. If it were severely moderated it might
- have a high enough quality to attract the 'target' audience. I dunno,
- just a thought.
