  13. It seems to me Andrew's points are valid, as are those of the
  14. observers who find surveys useful.  However, this discussion also
  15. takes up chunks of people's time.... Can we declare this meta-issue
  16. resolved for now, and go back to discussing campus-wide information
  17. systems?
