  12. I am trying to use Gopher in cooperation of some Novell NetWare workstation 
  13. software but am having limited success.  Has anyone done this successfully?

  15. I load a packet driver.

  19. Next load IPX.  This is version 3.10 of the BYU packet driver version of IPX.

  21. Next load NETX version 3.22.

  23. I am using PC Gopher II version 1.02b and NCSA Telnet version 2.3.03.

  25. I can use Gopher to access all Gopher items on the Gopher server and I can also
  26. telnet from Gopher to those services that require telneting to UNTIL I load 
  27. NETX.  After loading NETX I can still access items on the Gopher server but 
  28. Gopher will no longer allow me to telnet to other computers.  I get an error 
  29. saying that NCSA Telnet can't find a name server.  However, when I exit Gopher 
  30. and try using NCSA Telnet to telnet to the same computer that I was trying to 
  31. connect to in Gopher, I have no problems.
