  30. We had a similar problem here caused by a Multinet default that you should
  31. check.  Multinet 3.0 set up a logical for postmaster (I can't remember exactly
  32. what the logical was called; you can show logicals for *post and catch it if
  33. it's there) which forwarded mail to System.  We only use System for installs,
  34. so nobody was getting the errors

  36. You also need to go into multinet configure/servers and see what the
  37. smtp-postmaster is set to (this also defaults to System).

  39. Once I deleted the logicals and changed the smtp-postmaster setting in multinet
  40. configure/servers, I started getting lots of error messages to postmaster.

  42. Since this happened, we've taken the precaution of forwarding System's mail to
  43. postmaster.  My big complaint about Multinet's defaulting to System is that
  44. it was messing up my BITNET error mail too.
