- I'm not really sure where I'd start in writing such a command file;
- there are so many site-dependent issues with configuring NFS that can't
- always be figured out from information available on the machine being
- configured.
-
- The owner showing up as [DEFAULT] means that you have no mapping
- configured. The most common misconfiguration problems are attempting
- to assign mappings which aren't unique UID<->UIC mappings and
- misconfiguration of NFS-GROUPs. I recommend NOT using NFS-GROUPS
- until you've got the basic mapping debugged, and doing a
- REPLY/ENABLE=NETWORK/TEMP on both Client and Server and reload the UID
- mappings on each looking for any errors being logged to OPCOM. If
- you're still having problems, please open a support call with more
- information about your configuration either by email to
- SERVICE@TGV.COM or a call to 800-TGV-3440. Problems with UID mappings
- are usually quickest resolved by phone.
