  14. A suggestion to assist new users.  Have a command file set up a directory
  15. for NFS sharing to illustrate the various aspects of security with uid,gid
  16. etc.  I am having difficulty getting NFS to recognize the file owner, it
  17. seems to only be giving world access, even with defined group and either
  18. specific uid,gid for that group or with passwd file from the unix system
  19. for that group.  Is there a way to see what uid,gid,group, etc are being
  20. assumed at various stages of access in client and server?
  21.  
  22. Also, why does the owner field show up as [default] instead of showing 
  23. the name of the owner when one does a dir/security?  Even with the client
  24. and server on the same machine I have the same problems.  How can one
  25. find where the problem lies?
