  11. We have the process section table size (SYSGEN parameter PROCSECTCNT) set to
  12. 32. We also run a lot of images that use about 40 process sections (they use
  13. a lot of shareable images that are not installed).

  15. Sometimes (once every few weeks) I will run one of these images several
  16. times in a single process and then start getting the error SECTBLFUL. Once
  17. this happens it never stops, but if I log out and log in again I can run
  18. the image without any difficulty. I finally got around to investigating this
  19. today (which is when I asked the system mangler to up PROCSECTCNT :-) but ...

  21. Using SYSGEN SHOW PROC/PROC I have determined that the PST is empty
  22. when the image terminates and I *think* that it is never growing beyond
  23. PROCSECTCNT. The IDSM mentions that the PST can grow beyond PROCSECTCNT
  24. but doesn't say under what circumstances this might fail. Does anyone
  25. have any ideas why this should sometimes start happening? Neil.
