  18. If my memory serves me right, I believe nubile is an adjective which
  19. means "of a marriageable age."  Saying someone is too nubile is akin
  20. to refering to a woman as "slightly pregnant."  Certainly a faux
  21. pas which should never be permitted in the realm of good prose.

  23. Perhaps our dear reader has simply seen the phrase "nubile young
  24. fuck-thing" too many times.  True, that phrase has a nice ring to
  25. it, partially attributable to the use of the word "nubile", but I
  26. think his impression of what this word truly means is, er, umm....
