  20. This evening on CNN's "The Capital Gang" program, Margaret Warner
  21. reported that a poll of delegates to the Republican National
  22. Convention revealed that only 28% of the delegates support
  23. a Human Life Amendment to the US Constitution, as called for
  24. by the platform.  55% were reported opposed.

  26. Rep. Henry Hyde was the guest on the program.  He challenged the
  27. poll (which Warner suggested reached all delegates), saying that
  28. he, a delegate, had not been polled, and that he knew other
  29. delegates who also had not been polled.
