- You may wish to look at "Continued Fractions" by C. D. Olds.
- It was written in 1963 and is part of The New Mathematical Library
- series put out by the MAA. This series is geared toward beginners
- so does not get very deep into the subject. But it is also
- extremely well written! I would highly recommend it.

- I don't know much about the specifics of Ramanujan's work but I do
- know that he did some work on continued fractions. Bruce Berndt
- supposedly covers this in one of his books but I don't recall
- the exact title. It may just be called "Ramanujan's Notebooks."
- I think the continued fraction stuff is in book two of the series.
