- Went out again this morning (just outside Corvallis, OR) between 3:15 am and
- 5:00 am and lost count somewhere in the 50s. Viewing was limited due to the
- nearly-full moon, but most of the Perseids appeared to be magnitude 1.5 or
- brighter. Quite a few were of negative magnitude, many left visual "trails,"
- and one looked like it exploded. All but one of the meteors I saw were
- Perseids.
