- No. You have to drive all the way to Six Flags Great America (about 6 hours)
- to find something decent. ValleyFair! only has Excalibur which has a great
- first drop (they claim 70 degrees...yeah, sure) and good speed but it's
- very short. The woodie is actually pretty good. They have another loopie
- that I've seen at every other park I've been to. I used to have a season
- pass (past 3 years), but refuse to go back until they put a new coaster in
- (and there isn't one on the new-4-93 list)
-
- The other local coaster, the new one at CAmp Snoopy is, well, BORING!!!!
- It has no vertical drop > 45 degrees and has about a total of 100 feet
- vertical drop. No loops. Gag. They really could have done better than
- that. Paul Bunyan's Log Ride has a better drop!!
-
- I haven't been to Adventureland in Des Moines, IA, yet (I'm going soon), but
- that's another 5-6 hour drive from here. Looks like they only have a woodie
- and short steelie looper, anyways.
