- There is some inductance associated with the armature windings of a
- DC motor. However the amount of energy stored in this inductance
- is small compared with the armature's angular rotational energy and
- the kinetic energy of the vehicle.

- by the FET and the internal winding resistance of the motor/generator. Note
- that the current through the braking FET is opposite the current that flows
- through the catch diode.
