  24. According to the guidelines of news.announce.newsgroups, the Call For Votes
  25. cannot begin before the 19th of August, despite the fact that discussion is
  26. essentially over. Had the first discussion call I posted actually gone through,
  27. instead of just disappearing into the void, I would have put up the CFV this
  28. week. As it is, I must wait until the 19th.
