- The Volvo in question uses a Bosch EFI system, with a knock sensor. The timing
- is advanced until knock is detected, then backed off, ad. infinitum. This way,
- the output is optimized to the available fuel. Seems we just had a thread on
- this...if you have a knock sensor, better fuel will mean better performance. If
- not, don't waste your money unless you get knock.
