- A friend of mine has a 1981 Audi 4000 that has trouble starting (i.e. engine
- cranks but does not start). She says that this problem seems to occur when the
- gas gauge reads below half a tank and especially when it reads near a quarter
- of a tank. Temperature doesn't seem to have anything to do with it because it
- happens when the engine is cold or warm. Does anybody have any ideas. Thanks.
