  35. |Methanol (and I think isopropyl alcohol too) is a high octane fuel, and so will
  36. |reduce pinging.  Although water is not a fuel, if mixed with fuel, it will
  37. |also help prevent pinging.  This has to be done carefully--you can't just
  38. |dump water into your gas tank.

  41. miscible with petrol?  Inquiring minds want to know.
