- I have a '92 Mustang GT. I'm quite impressed with the overall layout of the
- engine bay. Everything is relatively easy to get to. After having seen the
- engine bay layout in various other cars like the Toyota Supra, I'm quite
- convinced that the Japanese don't necessarily have the upper hand on good
- (read: maintainable) design. And if that doesn't scare you, take a look
- at the engine bay of a carbureted 1984 (or thereabouts. A friend of mine
- has one of these) Honda Accord. Such a mass of plumbing will make even the
- most determined weekend mechanic flee in terror!! Replacing the timing belt
- in that thing looks like it'll require pulling the engine...:-(
