  14. I own a '87 5.0L Mustang.  To put it lightly, I am not mechanically inclined
  15. and don't know that much about the inner workings of car.

  17. Lately, I have noticed a knocking and banging sounds coming from the car
  18. at certain RPM's.  The best way to describe the sound is that it sounds like
  19. a stone trapped in the exhaust system.  The sound comes from the exhaust system
  20. and not the engine compartment.  Could one of the catalytic convertors need
  21. replacing.
