- The "expiration date" is implicit in the last (3-digit) group of the DOT label.
- This is coded WWY, where WW = week of year and Y = last digit of year number,
- e.g., 222 = 22nd week in 1992 (or is it 1982?). This is the date when the tire
- was produced.
