- A battery that has a self-discharge problem will go dead; a good battery
- ought not to but that's only if there's no load.

- Maybe he could just remove the battery when he parks it, take it home and
- leave it on float charge, and take it back and reinstall it when it's time
- to move the van. Alternatively maybe one of those solar battery charger
- things is what he needs, to keep it topped up. Those won't help if he has
- some continuous load on the battery though.
