- Steve,
- I guess I meant about 2k, "at least" is misleading. BUT, you obviously
- don't have or haven't driven a pre-90 Integra. The engine has almost
- NO low-end torque and needs to be spun a little to get the thing to
- move from a stop. Another poster stated that 1.5k should be enough,
- and he is right in most cases, but just "blipping" the RPM to 1 or
- 1.2k or so WILL stall the engine and leave you in the middle of the
- intersection at a green light restarting the car. BTW, I have been
- driving manual transmission cars for 12 years and I know how to let
- out the clutch. I think i'll have to look into adjusting the clutch
- more often, but still it shouldn't have gone out a 41k. Just goes to
- show, maybe Acura's are not God's gift to Man and EVERY car has a
- weakness or two. That should get some flames burnin' ;-)
