  11. I recently purchased a pair of 3 way, 5 speaker marantz speakers from a
  12. friend who bought them at a pawn shop. They are large sized (4ft. high),
  13. and contain a 12" ported woofer, one 4 inch midrange, one tweeter and two
  14. super tweeters of unknown size. all three tweeters are liquid cooled. The
  15. model number is HD 88 and I know that these speakers are roughly 10 years
  16. old. Does anyone have any info about these speakers that they would like
  17. to share with me? Would they be good for starting a system? How do they
  18. compare with brands such as infinity and JBL? any help in this mystery
  19. would be appreciated. please post because my mail isn't working right now.
