  12.   Last year my wife and I arranged with Alamo, through a travel agent, that
  13.   we would be charged for two "weekly" specials for our 11-day vacation.
  14.   However, upon arrival at the Alamo office in San Francisco, the clerk
  15.   disavowed all knowledge of such an agreement (confirmation number and all),
  16.   and would only give us the weekly rate for the first 7 days, and the
  17.   daily rate for the rest of the time, which was significantly more
  18.   expensive.  After having waited in the cattle line for about 25 minutes,
  19.   it just wasn't worth the aggravation to carry the dispute any farther.

  21.   We've got the same deal pending this year with General in San Diego.
  22.   Hopefully they'll honor it, since their weekly special is 5 to 7 days,
  23.   so we can split the time accordingly into two "weeks".
