  14. Well, after reading the leaky battery thread, I pulled the Duracells out of
  15. my Magnovox AE-3805 shortwave travel radio, and sure enough they were starting
  16. to leak.  What's odd is that the clock still was working, so I didn't think
  17. the batteries had run down.

  19. I guess it's a bad policy to leave batteries in consumer equipment for any
  20. extended period of time. (more than a month)
