- aluminum cooking can be grossly hazardous to your health. I wish I
- had kept a newspaper article I read (somewhere in Texas or Oklahoma).
- this article described a church social where a mass of strawberry
- rubarb pie filling was cooked in aluminum pans. it seems that the
- fruit's acid reacted with each of the pans, liberating large quantities
- of aluminum. several older church members died and all the rest were
- admitted to local hospitals.

- stores. it surprises me even more when I see people using them...
