  11. aluminum cooking can be grossly hazardous to your health. I wish I
  12. had kept a newspaper article I read (somewhere in Texas or Oklahoma).
  13. this article described a church social where a mass of strawberry
  14. rubarb pie filling was cooked in aluminum pans. it seems that the
  15. fruit's acid reacted with each of the pans, liberating large quantities
  16. of aluminum. several older church members died and all the rest were
  17. admitted to local hospitals.

  19. it always surprises me when I see aluminum cooking pans/utensils in
  20. stores. it surprises me even more when I see people using them...
