  21. attention of Tipper Gore.

  23. Implore her as a mother who has held a vigil beside her own child when
  24. his life was in danger, to take special notice of the mothers and children
  25. of Somalia, and not to turn her attention away from them until the danger is
  26. over.

  28. Whatever opinions are about Tipper Gore's anti-rock-lyrics campaign, there
  29. is no question that she is seriously concerned for the welfare of children.

  31. The appeal to Tipper Gore could also be made to Al Gore, who has spoken
  32. about how his priorities changed when his 6-year-old son was hit by
  33. a car. Both parents spent 30 days and nights by the child's bedside.
  34. The boy has now made a good recovery.

  40. Fund.  Ask her to take the children of Somalia under her special notice and
