- No problem at all.
- As all DEC products, the product comes in a 'setld' format which does
- anything for you.
- After installation, the product is ready to run.
-

- 3 TLZ04

-
- Backups are running at night ... and didn't gave any special problems
- until today.
- DECnsr allows you to use compression before the client send the
- data to the server so that the network overload is less.
-

-
- 9 GB of used data.
-
- This depends greatly on the type of backup you decide to do and the
- change made to files to be backuped.
- Here, I'm using a schedule so that I have a full backup each 3 months
- and incremental each day.
- All machines are divided into 3 groups, so that I have one full each month.
-
- I have for the moment for about 4% of 9GB of indexes.
-
- It also depends on how much time you want to keep your index on-line, that
- is which browsing policy you define.
-
- >Was it easy to use? Easy to add/delete partitions from the list of

-
- Current version (1.1) has no motif interface but next will have (V2.0).
-
- With the new version , it is just click. So very easy to use.
-
- >Any other comments you think you can add?
-
- I'm from Digital and I should recommend you to assist a full DECnsr demo
- at your local DEC representation. (ask for V2.0 Field Test)
