  16. Based on my experience with Sun machines, and my experiences with my 
  17. one INTEL Unix machine (486/33, ESIX 3.2-d), there is one difference
  18. that really stands out ...  Not Performance, but RELIABILITY.

  20. A machine running SunOS will be much less likely to "hang" than the 
  21. equivalent intel machine.  At least that has been my experience, but 
  22. comparing esix 5.3 to Solaris 1.1 or even SunOS 4.0 is not a fair
  23. comparison :-) :-)
