- You don't want to mess with that directory. The files you need to edit are:

- /etc/conf/sdevice.d/asy
- /etc/conf/node.d/asy

- sas will probably also have files in these directories. I haven't installed
- sas, so I'm making an assumption it uses the same mechanism as asy.
