  25. This personal attack on Uwe is way out of line.

  27. In answer to your question, Uwe Doering is the author of FAS - a widely (if not
  28. universally) used serial port driver for misc. versions of i386 UNIX.  Uwe
  29. has invested great time and effort in the creation and maintenance of this
  30. finely crafted piece of software, to the significant benefit of i386 UNIX users.
  31. Most of us greatly appreciate his generosity.

  33. The newsgroups to which this update were cross posted were ones in which many
  34. (most) readers would have a strong interest in it.  Apparently you do not.  You
  35. can not expect the complete contents of these newsgroups to be of interest to you.
  36. Perhaps you should boycott your use of the net in protest.
