- In answer to your question, Uwe Doering is the author of FAS - a widely (if not
- universally) used serial port driver for misc. versions of i386 UNIX. Uwe
- has invested great time and effort in the creation and maintenance of this
- finely crafted piece of software, to the significant benefit of i386 UNIX users.
- Most of us greatly appreciate his generosity.
