- Actually, you don't need a bus-mastering Ethernet card to be able to drive
- an Ethernet at full bandwidth. A good driver on a WD8013 is fully capable
- of it, provided the context switch and interrupt latencies of the
- underlying OS can meet the tight timing windows. After that, it becomes a
- question of whether or not the network protocol leaves enough cycles for
- the driver to run.
