  19. Actually, you don't need a bus-mastering Ethernet card to be able to drive 
  20. an Ethernet at full bandwidth.  A good driver on a WD8013 is fully capable 
  21. of it, provided the context switch and interrupt latencies of the 
  22. underlying OS can meet the tight timing windows. After that, it becomes a 
  23. question of whether or not the network protocol leaves enough cycles for 
  24. the driver to run.
