  18. First, FAS is indeed a useful utility, and thanks for Uwe for spending the time
  19. to write, and enhance it.

  21. However, Jerry's idea is right, although I don't agree with the method
  22. (flaming, that is).

  24. Our site too has to pay for the news feed, that is the company pays for it.
  25. We only get a few Usenet groups for that reason, because we get charged by both
  26. TIME and VOLUME, since this is an international X.25 connection, and the speed
  27. is only 2400 baud.

  29. Therefore, if the posting of source will be lengthy, I'd prefer, IMHO, that it
  30. be only *announced* in non-source groups, and those who want it can ftp/uucp/
  31. ftpmail/e-mail, ..etc. from the appropriate archives/persons.

  33. I think this is more appropriate in a international network like Usenet, and to
  34. ease bandwidth load.
