  19. Uwe Doering authored and posted it.  I appreciate it -- I guess
  20. irresponsibility (and crap) is in the eyes of the beholder.  I also
  21. pay for my news and Uwe's work is worth far more to me than most of
  22. the articles I see.

  24. Many, many of us running V.[3,4] on 386 & 486 machines use his async
  25. drivers.  I would guess that cross-posting the source in
  26. comp.unix.sysv386 ends up being only slightly more expensive than
  27. paying for all of the "I missed FAS2.10, could someone post it or send
  28. me a copy" messages.  We'll have to wait and see whether the followup
  29. traffic to your posting costs us even more.
